Arcanists

Arcanists is a multiplayer strategy game on funorb.com. funorb is a gaming website created by Jagex. i enjoy playing Arcanists because it gives me a fun game to play and i can make friends from all over the world. my character's names are vegeta 122 and dart feld122. i enjoy nothing more that pwning noobs in my free time. i highly recommend this game to any and everyone, although i have a couple of complaints with it. i believe the system of ratings isn't fair. i think there should be a set amout of ratings you gain or lose when you win or lose a match. i would recomend a solid 25 rating gain/loss per each win/lose. i have actually won a game and lost ratings. also it isn't fair for people with higher ratings because if they lose to a newbie, they can lose a massive amount of ratings. but other than this, i have no serious complaints.
p.s. i would greatly appreciate a "Book of Bombs"

track and field

My favorite sport to play is track and field. i throw discuss and shot-put. this year i intend to do some running events too if i am fast enough to compete. my goal this year is to go to state and get state medal in discuss and shot-put. last year was my first year back in track and field since 8th grade. my other school didn't have it so my freshman and sophomore year i could not be in track. then i moved to my school now and we co-op with abother school for track. i plan to do track as long as i possible can.

Cold Weather

i personally like cold weather. fall/winter has always been my favorite time of year. i love snow and my favorite hollidays occur when it is cold out. My favorite hollidays are Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. i am not a person that likes being hot. some people call me wierd because i have been known to go outside in a T-Shirt in 35 degree weather. i remember on a biology field trip, my class and i went to a park to test the water and check for different organisms. i volunteered myself to go take water temperatures. the water i was swimming in was 45 degrees and i loved it.

My Weekend

My weekend was pretty uneventful. i just went to work and listened to the NASCAR race on Sunday. i was happy because Carl Edwards won, but sad that Jimmy Johnson finished 2nd. i closed at work on friday. i have been getting a lot more hours at work now.

a podcast is like a radio show that you can make at home on the internet. They are also free. people all across the world can subscribe to podcasts and they get every episode recorded as soon as it is posted. this is very cool because u can also download them onto your mp3 players.

Technology's Effect On My Life

i think that technology has definately been a good thing for me. it has made my life better for many reasons. in one way it has given me better means of transportation so i can get places faster. it has also made food easier to get. this is very beneficial because i do not have to grow my own food.

My Wish

O i wish i were an Oscar Meyer Weiner. that us what i'de truely like to be. and if i were an Oscar Meyer Weiner. Everyone would be in love with me.

But seriously my one wish would be to be the best shot-put and discus thrower there ever was or ever will be. i am ok now, but i have a long way to go. i know that if i work extremely hard i can achieve this.

My Favorite Possession

My favorite possession would have to be Guitar Hero. Guitar Hero is my favorite video game. i have played it more than any other game. I play Guitar Hero on the expert difficulty. my favorite pastime is competing with anyone who wants to compete with me on Guitar Hero.

the Significance of the 2008 Election

i think the significance of the 2008 election is huge. it showed that the majority of america is over racism. this memorable event marks the day in history that america has its first black president. i believe that this is good because racism is rediculous.

This election has also disrupted the balance of power in congress. we now hae a democratic president, a democratic majority house, and a democratic senate. this tells me that the democrats pretty much gets to do what they want. i hope they can do a better job than has been done for a long time.

Election day's importance

i believe that election day is very important. this is how we chose who our new president will be. if we did not have an election day the government would elect whoever they wanted. election day is a very important day for a democracy.

America's Dependence On Foreign Oil

America has been dependent on foreign oil for way too long. America uses oil for all of our major forms or transportation. this list includes cars, trucks, vans, SUV's, air plains, busses, subways, and trains, to name a few. the major problem with this is the fact that America gets a vast majority of their oil from foreign nations. this is bad because america has enough oil within her boundaries to run the country.

another problem is the fact that the world is running out of fossil fuels. this is horrible because America's economy is based on fossil fuels. what does this tell us? that we need to serch for new ways to run our machinery. there have been discussions of hydro powered vehicles, electric vehicles, and hydrogen powered vehicles. if perfected, these could be much better ways to run our machinery.

America's dependence on fossill fuels have became a big political issue. each political party has their own views on how this growing problem should be taken care of. no doubt, whichever candidate proposes the best solution to this situation will be elected as president of the U.S.
